Our sweater collection is built on one idea: clothing you wear for years, not one season. Every sweater is only made once you order it, in our own studio. No warehouses, no overproduction, no piles of unsold stock that end up discarded. That is what a sustainable sweater means to us: not just the material, but how it gets made in the first place.

Within this collection you will find two lines, each sustainable in its own way.

The Organic Sweatshirt is our essential: a timeless crewneck in five colors (Black, Navy, Asphalt, Off White and Heather Grey), cut from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester. This organic cotton sweater is kept deliberately simple, without a big logo, so it goes with everything and never goes out of style. It is the sweater you reach for when you do not want to think about what to wear.

If you prefer something more expressive, there is PlanetAir and StreetPlanet: our streetwear sweater line, with a roomier cut and a print instead of a solid color. PlanetAir comes in ten colors, from Aquamarine to Moon Grey Heather, and StreetPlanet in three: Black, Heather Grey and Navy. Both are cut from a sustainable blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, with the same promise as the rest of the collection: made to order, never stocked in advance.

All our sweaters are unisex, designed to fit well regardless of who wears them. We are less interested in a strict line between men's and women's clothing than in clothing that simply lasts.

Why choose sustainable sweaters from ONETURTLE? Because we take three things seriously: material, production, and lifespan. Material, because organic cotton farming puts less strain on soil and water than conventional cotton, and blending in recycled polyester gives textile waste a second life. Production, because we only make what gets ordered, no seasonal collections that end up half discounted. And lifespan, because a sweater that loses its shape or pills after a few washes was never truly sustainable, however organic the cotton.

In practice: your sweater is made and shipped within 1 to 10 working days, combined orders can take a little longer. Wash it at 30 degrees and let it air dry, that is best for both the fibers and the color. Not sure about sizing? Every product links to our size chart with exact body measurements, so you do not have to guess.

Quality shows in the details. Our sweaters have double stitched seams, a sturdy rib at the neck, cuffs and hem, and a weight that is noticeably heavier than fast fashion basics. That is deliberate: a lightweight sweater might feel nice in the store, but a sweater with real body still holds its shape after ten washes.

Styling is easy: wear an Organic Sweatshirt under a jacket for a quiet, understated look, or pair PlanetAir or StreetPlanet with one of our joggers for a complete streetwear outfit. Since every color in this collection sits in the same calm palette, almost anything here pairs with anything else without feeling forced.

Shipping is currently Netherlands only, a temporary measure tied to new packaging regulation, but we are working to reopen EU shipping later this year and worldwide after that. Until then, the promise stays the same: every sweater is made specifically for you, not pulled from a warehouse shelf.

What is the difference between a sweater and a sweatshirt? At ONETURTLE we use the terms interchangeably: our Organic Sweatshirt and the PlanetAir and StreetPlanet line are all crewneck sweaters, cut from the same kind of sustainable cotton blend, just with a different color palette and fit.
