ORDER
PLACING AN ORDER
After finding your desired items, there are only five steps to follow:
1. Shopping cart
Select the size (see size chart) for your items (if applicable) and use the “ADD TO CART” button.
Review your shopping cart by selecting the shopping cart icon at the top of the page. You can delete items from your shopping cart or change the quantity and size.
If everything is alright, click on ”ORDER” to proceed with your order.
2. Personal details and ONETURTLE account
Enter your personal details and address. If you have a ONETURTLE account, simply log in and everything is filled in with your info. If you don't have a ONETURTLE account you can either create one, or checkout as a guest.
3. Delivery
Enter the delivery address details. The delivery address can be different from your home address.
4. Check
This is the last step before finalising your order. Check the order details and if everything looks good, click continue.
5. Payment
You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL and more. After your payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your order summary. You will receive another e-mail once the order is shipped from our warehouse.
GENERAL INFORMATION
ONETURTLE has made every effort to display the colors of the products (product photos) on www.ONETURTLE.shop as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of the colors is completely accurate. All items are checked for any faults before they are being shipped to our customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us immediately.
DELIVERY
DELIVERY TIME
Shipments within the Netherlands are handled by PostNL, DHL and DPD. You will be informed about the expected or guaranteed delivery date during checkout. Please note that during sales periods delivery can take longer than usual and that shipments are only processed on European business days.
Additionally, we will send you an e-mail the moment your shipment is handed over to shipping provider. They will provide you with a tracking number so you can follow your shipment throughout its journey.
ONETURTLE has a production and delivery time of 5 to 10 working days for some items. Each item is manufactured and inspected by us, custom made for you.
Delivery Times
Please note that during certain periods around Dutch and international holidays, it may take longer than usual. Delivery times as shown below count from the day your package is shipped from the ONETURTLE atelier. Expected delivery date is mentioned on the checkout page, in the order confirmation e-mail and in the shipping confirmation e-mail.

DELIVERY COSTS
You have free shipping on orders above €100 (NL). When your order total is lower than €100, shipping costs will be charged.
Free shipping on orders above €150 for Belgium/Germany and on orders above €250 for rest of the EU.
For the Netherlands it is also possible to choose for letterbox post. Our system will automatically indicate this option when possible.
You will not receive a Track & Trace code with this method and no shipping insurance.
Duties & taxes
ONETURTLE ships from the Netherlands. For countries within the EU, there are no custom charges.
ONETURTLE shall not be liable for duties or taxes. Please be well informed before you place an order. Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. Only after you've received your order, you are able to return the item(s) free of charge.
Soon we are able to send outside the EU.

Shipping insurance
Shipments are insured against theft and accidental damage during shipping until the moment you received the package.
If your package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery or write a note (if possible) that you are accepting a damaged package when signing for it. We recommend to make a picture of the package.
DISPOSAL GUIDE
The compostable mailer
If possible, re-use the compostable mailer as many times as you can before disposing of it, you could:
- use it again to return an unwanted/damaged item to us (compostable mailers come with two adhesive strips to make this even easier);
- use it again to send something else (you can even flip it inside out);
- cut it up and use it as weed matting in your garden;
- cut it up and use it to grow seedlings (it’s non-toxic!);
- use it to carry or store green waste.
Once the mailer has reached the end of its useful life, the best way to dispose of it is to compost it it’s home compostable and will break down in a normal compost bin in about 6 months. Remove any labels (unless you’re sure that they’re also compostable), sticky tape and the recyclable plastic backing of any adhesive strips that remain and throw it into a compost bin to start the process!
If you don’t have access to a compost bin, you can also dispose of the mailer in a municipal composting facility or with food waste. Please don’t try to recycle it like most compostable items, it’s not recyclable and will have to be removed from the recycling stream.
Compostable right at home
The compostable mailer will break down in a home compost bin or under industrial composting conditions.

The item bag
If possible, re-use item bags as many times as you can before disposing of them. Once they’ve reached the end of their useful life, the best way to dispose of them is to dissolve them in boiling water.
Boil at least 200ml of water per item bag. place each bag into the water one at a time and stir to dissolve. The resulting mixture will contain mineralised biomass and non-toxic ink, not microplastics. Once the mixture has cooled, pour it down the sink. Watch the video demonstration.
We don’t recommend trying to compost the item bag. We also don’t recommend trying to recycle it. Although the material is technically recyclable, it’s unlikely to be recycled if disposed of in a normal recycling bin and may have to be removed from the recycling stream.
