Every brand has an origin story. Ours has a shell.

Growing up, I was always on the water. Windsurfing, sailing: the water felt like my second home. And on every adventure, my buddy came along: a turtle named William. He was there through every capsized board and every perfect afternoon on the water.

What a turtle teaches you

Turtles don't rush. They've been around for over 200 million years, not by being the fastest, but by being built to last. A shell that protects. A pace that endures. There's a lesson in that for how we make things, and for how we consume them.

Fashion went the opposite way: faster seasons, cheaper materials, clothes designed to be replaced. Somewhere along the line, I started connecting the two worlds. The water I loved was filling up with the waste of an industry moving too fast.

From William to ONETURTLE

When I finally started my own brand in 2020, the name was never really a question. One turtle: for the friend who was always there, and for the idea that one small, steady thing can carry a big message.

That message is on every piece we make: Protect Your Shell. Take care of what protects you: your clothes, your skin, your planet. Buy less, choose well, make it last.

William would approve. Slowly, but surely.
